Elisabeth Von Trapp will appear in concert in Chatham on September 30, 7 PM at Watson Memorial UMC.

Elisabeth Von Trapp, the granddaughter of the famous singing Von Trapp family of Sound of Music fame, will appear in concert on Wednesday, September 30, 7 PM at Watson Memorial United Methodist Church.

We’ll have our regular fellowship meal at 5:45 PM, then adjourn to Watson Memorial UMC for the concert.  Our choir, and the choirs from the Methodist, Presbyterian, and Episcopal churches will join Elisabeth for some favorite songs during the concert.  Plan to attend now.  Admission is free and a love offering will be taken during the concert.

Welcome to our new website!

Our new church website is up and running!  Thanks to Nathan White of Bridge Vision Web Ministries for his design expertise and being such a great guy to work with.  This site gives us a clean, fresh look and helpful tools we can use to communicate more effectively.

I wrote an article recently titled Ten Things Your Church Website Should Do.  I figure we’re up to 5 or 6 of those things on this one now, but we’ll keep adding and improving each week.  Come back often, and let us know how we can continue to make it better.
